I need to write a book. Just when I think that my life is in order and that things have calmed down, along comes a new crisis. Hoo boy! This was a good one. I just had to laugh because I didn't know what else to do! Fortunately, I kept my head about me and didn't act impulsively. This was good. Here's what happened. I'm working in my office enjoying my new 71% time. A student is also in the office taking a test for another teacher. I know this student --had him last semester and have a good relationship with him. Then he addresses me and says, "Did you know that ___ ___ is pregnant and is saying that ___ (son) is the father?" All I could think of was. "No, please, don't tell me that; this CANNOT be true. ____ has been following my son since their break-up last November! She won't leave him alone. So I didn't think this 'rumor' was possible. The student told me this because he thought that the girl was being very cruel and that (son) had told him it wasn't his. She is a freshman and son is a sophomore. No way either one of these youngsters is ready for a child!!!Then, I got home and the girl's mother called me. I was actually going to call her, but she beat me to it. Ironically, I think she is a former student of mine. She told me that her daughter is NOT pregnant--she had gotten an EPT test and had her daughter use it after school today and it was negative. She thinks that her daughter and my son have had sex, although he says that he did not. The mom also was kind of wondering aloud while talking to me if her daughter spread this rumor for attention? Ya think?! As a mother, she is trying very hard to shelter her daughter from any negative experiences. I admire how hard she is working at this and trying to have a good relationship with her as well. I actually like this former girlfriend. She has spunk. But, I believe she also has some psychological problems that definitely need some help. I was relieved to learn that I am not going to be a grandmother anytime soon. I'm fairly old fashioned--believe in the ring and the vows before the baby! Other than that, just worked this afternoon on research to support my rationale for my project. I will be so glad to have this done! This is the biggest hurdle to my master's. I am very tired again today even though I received more than adequate sleep last night. All I know is that I do not WANT any more surprises or minor/major crisises. Just one day without them! I feel sometimes like I am living in a soap opera and the writers refuse to write me out of the script! Well, tomorrow is a new day.

You handle things so well. Better than I would, I\'m sure. My research class for my master\'s degree was the only B I recieved. I know it is hard. I didn\'t have to PROVE

Oh hang in there girl. Just thank God that you are not a grandma. Oh wow.....funny how things come up in pairs! LOL I just posted some pictures today and noticed you had commented on a lot of them. I always forget to check them. Yes Sarge is a dog, Lab/Chow, 14 years old, had him for 12. Some of the landscape creek pictures are at my mom\'s house. Oh, it is so truly beautiful, I try to capture it all the time. The one with the squirrel is here at home right out my kitchen window. I truly love nature and photographing it as well. Love to photo flowers which I will have to share. Might be nice this time of year to see something warm. Hope the days are going well and sorry for not writing sooner.
