I need to remember today. I need to remember because it was Wednesday and Wednesdays are generally exhausting. Just because Wednesday is th middle of the week and it is usually the worst day for exhaustion. Monday and Tuesday I am generally pretty good, but Wednesdays are so often total fatigue, weakness in the knees, off balance, less of a positive outlook. This is the main reason for going to 71% time. I thought that this week Wednesday might be different and it perhaps would have been had I received adequate sleep Monday and Tuesday. Today I fell asleep around 5:50 p.m. and didn't get up until nearly 2:00 a.m. In a few minutes, I'm going back to bed. I am so very tired. We start school an hour late today due to the winter storm. We got out one hour early yesterday.Just when I thought that he was progressing so far, Jack blew it. He started swearing at me at the mall--right there in public--because I wouldn't allow him to go to a certain store. I had seen his 'friend' go in there and we don't allow Jack to associate with this person since this individual is the one that Jack got into so much trouble with last year. Got Jack's text messaging working again. Why Mike thinks that text messaging is a good idea is beyond me. Why can't he just have access to the calls? People can leave messages. I told Mike to think of ONE good reason for Jack to have text messaging. He couldn't come up with one reason! Hmmmm....now what does that say?Mike brought home a beautiful red rose for me for Valentine's Day. I purchased a mini white rose bush in a pot for myself a few days ago. Both are very pretty. The white roses have started blooming. I will plant them outside this summer and hope that they will survive ND winters. The floor in our bedroom is half finished and I absolutely LOVE it! I can't wait until my new bed gets here--I know that I am going to like the adjustable feature it has. It will be nice to be back in our bedroom--everything will seem like brand new--and most of it will be! Now I need to clean out my closet. Not a job I'm looking forward to. I made a really difficult decision--NOT to go to Australia. Since it is a Youth Trip to see Pope Benedict and is 13 days long, I was very concerned about being able to keep up. I finally decided that I am not going to run the risk--I am pretty sure, although it is hard to admit it, that I won't be able to keep up. Today's exhaustion reinforced my feeling and helped me realize that it was the correct decision. Now, if Geralyn can only sell my trip! If not, I will still go as I have already invested around $4,000 into it and I don't want to see that amount go down the drain.More tomorrow if time.
