Is it possible to write a short entry? I am so relieved that Mom appears to be back on the road to recovery! Last night was very scary. She was hospitalized when she became quite suddenly very ill. The doctor thought it was a bladder, kidney, blood infection. Her blood pressure went down to 71/38 and they couldn't conrol it. She had a fever up to 104 degrees! Then they took her by ambulance at 10:30 p.m. to Fargo where they have a much, much larger hospital with specialists, an ICU, etc. Today, doctors said possible pulmonary embulism, but the test came back negative. Thank-you, dear Lord! Mom has a very severe care of pneumonia and may have a blood infection as well. Maybe the kidneys too. Won't know until the blood and urine cultures grow something  Anyway, she is resting now and doing okay from what I understand. I'm so glad that Mary, Kari, and Kevin are with her. This is the last week of full time. I finally went to my superintendent and asked that my contract be reduced so that I didn't have any afternoon classes. Amazingly, I'm still at 71%, but now I will only teach four classes. I get so darned tired in the afternoon that I don't feel I'm giving the students my personal best. I know I'm not. Not that they are getting a poor teacher, just an exhausted one LOL.  Since I have some sick leave left, I can use that all up and get 100% of my paycheck. Yay!With the afternoons 'free,' I can now start and finish my master's project and then just one class to go! Yipee! I found somone (finally) to rip up the old carpet in our bedroom and install a new laminate floor. Then we can have the new furniture delivered and set up! Yay!  Went to dentist this a.m. and had a temp. crown put in. It keeps coming out though.  Can't stay awake any more.
