The steroids are 50% less. I can sleep again, but am not nearly as energetic as I was earlier this week. Symptoms include being more off-balance (nearly fell over sideways but caught self), right hand shaking while playing a casino game, extreme fatigue, some memory issues although memory seems to be a little better overall. I have also been experiencing much more weakness in my legs and left arm. I can't really explain the feeling I get in my left arm--not painful, not feeling like it is asleep, more like a weakness, but hard to describe with words. It's primarily the middle of my arm where it feels strange some of the time--the elbow area as well as above and below it.I went bowling tonight--to keep on eye on the 16 year old. Mike and I bowled three games. At first, I thought I would not do well. Okay, so I didn't do super great, but I did break 100 each time. A couple of spares and strikes each game. I had to 'let myself go' and not fear the MS balance issues to throw the ball correctly. I surprised myself that I was just able to 'trust and let go'. I still had slight balance issues, but I used a light enough ball and didn't fall or trip or anything. Nice surprise! I did, however, notice a few times that it was difficult to sometimes discern the # of pins as the glare of lights made it look as though another pin was standing behind a front pin. I pulled a muscle in my left back thigh. I can't believe how stiff I am!Short week coming up and I am looking forward to it! Am anxious to see Mom, sons, and a couple of my siblings.
