It's been an entire week since I've been on this site. Went to the lake for family reunion. All siblings were there. It was great to see my cousin Patty again as well as her husband and daughter, Mary. Joan gave me my shot on Saturday evening. Since she is an RN, she definitely knows how to give the injections. The shot was much more painful when Joan gave it and I have a big bruise where the injection was given. Additionally, I have a very sore muscle. Neither of these side effects have bothered me before now.

Yesterday was a bad day. I had planned on staying at the lake one more day, but felt 'out of sorts'. I couldn't put my finger on what was wrong, but knew that something wasn't right. I was cleaning up and picking up stuff in the cabin when Mom said, "Who's drinking all of the Coke Zero and leaving cans all over the place?" That comment really made me mad because there were a total of three cans--one empty, another I was drinking, and the other belonged to another family member. Here I was the ONLY person trying to straighten up things and Mom gets upset about two cans! Normally, this remark wouldn't have bugged me in a major way, but at that moment it did and I was almost in tears. Stupid reaction, I know, but I couldn't help it.

Then conflict with J. He refused to take his suitcase out to the car and left the room. I yelled at him to come back and take his suitcase out to the car. He slammed the door. Mike came up just as things were escalating further. In the end, J wound up throwing a table in Mike's direction outside the cabin, flipped me off, said some nasty things to me...Sigh...just when things had seemed to be getting better. One step forward and three behind. Pretty much status quo.

I left after that and headed for home. Mike and J. stayed behind since we had driven separately.  I didn't even say goodbye to anyone--I just left. Not a good way to bring the reunion to an end. I did write an email apology, however, when I got home. I hope they understand.

This is what I am afraid life will come down to if things don't get better with J. My husband will be forced to choose between his son and his wife as I cannot live with J. when he is obnoxious and physically threatening. Today he's okay and I can live with 'Okay'. What will tomorrow bring? I feel sometimes that I am walking on eggshells and I hate living like that!

I am very concerned about doing my internship during the school day (prep. period). I guess I will find out just how much MS has taken from me when I go back to work. smiley-tongue-out.gif
