I'm out of my 'funk'. My 'funks' generally don't last more than a day. I started a fairly big project today and made some headway...but have a whole lot of work to do yet. It's not physically demanding--just sorting through old mail (mostly junk mail), magazines, paid bills, stuff from school, and all of the etcetera that one tends to accumulate over the years. I have about two years worth of paper to go through. It will be such a relief to get it done as it has been bugging me for a long time. When 'stuff' starts to pile up, and by 'stuff' I mean 'junk,' it tends to create negativity in that part of the house. Once I get rid of most of it and file the rest of it, I'll have another postive area! This is the job I decided to begin with as it bothers me the most.I finally came to the conclusion today that I CANNOT DO EVERYTHING that needs to be done before school starts! Just not possible! I must think I'm superwoman--Hah! So, I am accepting the fact that I will do what I can and the rest....well...one can hope that possibly during the school year I can get some house things done? Probably not, but I'm holding out hope.Turned the air on today before noon and what a difference it made! It was very hot outside (high 80's) and the house was deliciously cool. I think staying cool really makes a difference for me. When I'm hot I tend to be more out of sorts, fatigued, and just feel yucky. So I'll continue to keep the air going. I only hope that the compressor doesn't freeze up as it did last summer (or the summer before?). Not many symptoms today...just the usual afternoon fatigue which I chose to ignore, the usual right foot numbness and tingling, fingers tingling, and just a couple little balance issues. Otherwise, great!Mike started a disc golf league which started tonight. There were nine total people--3 teams of 3. He really enjoys this game and the course is so close to our house. I'm glad that he likes this.Took Max for a walk and got in my 10,000 steps for the day--which is supposed to be the goal to shoot for for weight loss. 5,000 steps are needed just to maintain; 10,000 to burn extra fat and calories (provided, of course, that one doesn't pig out during the day). Enough for today.
