Wow! Two journals in a row. I should be working on my paper for tomorrow, but need a break. My balance was again compromised today. I was walking from the garage to the house and suddenly I felt like I was leaning to the right. It was very odd, almost like a magnet was pulling me to the right. I was slightly dizzy as well. This continued for about five minutes or so. I thought about the line from "I'm a little Teapot" which goes, "...Just tip me over and pour me out!" I felt like if someone just gave me a gentle push, down I would go. Strange. I went back to working on my paper and later got up to throw in a load of laundry. I noticed that my right foot felt heavy; my whole right leg felt odd, like it weighed more than the left leg. Hard to explain. I lurched to the right once and then to the left. Most of the balance problems were to the right. I thought that this was MS, but knew that diabetes could also cause this so I tested my blood sugar. It was a little on the high side, but not high enough to create any problems. Actually, it was in the range (133) that it often is. So the diabetes didn't cause the tilting to the right and heaviness in the foot/leg. I'm not sure what to make of all of this. Since I had the experience just a few days ago of falling over and over while in shallow water at the lake, my balance has seemed a little compromised. Could this be the beginning of an exacerbation? I really don't know; guess only time will tell. No pain; just a little 'off kilter' at times.

Hope the balance gets better. We are all with you on that. :) Take care.
With all the balance problems coming up suddenly, you might want to call your doc and make sure you\'re not at the start of the exacerbation. I sure hope you feel better soon!
