Two more days and I'll turn 50. I really don't want to be 50, but don't have much of a choice! I don't feel 50. I just hope that nobody at work finds out as I hate the 'surprise' birthday 'black' stuff that people do for 40th and 50th. I escaped the 40th so hope I can do the same this year. I did hear something kind of neat today--that today's 50 is now 40 and 40 is now 30. I like that! I think there is actually a lot of truth to that.
I am almost finished with my online class. I have one page of my paper done and one page to go. Can't finish the 2nd page until my students get further with their project since that is what the 2nd page needs to deal with.
Looked at the schedule for summer. Will be going on Tuesdays and Thursdays I think.
My fatigue is actually better! I haven't gotten that horrible overwhelming feeling of being tired this week! I am tired, yes, but not so exhausted as I usually feel in the afternoon. I have been getting a little more sleep. Went from 5-6 hours a night to 6-7 hours. Makes a difference! I really need 8, but can survive pretty well on 7. Once I start getting 8 regularly, it will be interesting to see what happens to the afternoon fatigue.
Only 8 days left of school. I feel like I have put in two years. No wonder we have 10 wks. 'off'! We need to recover from the school year and the emotional and physical toll it takes. This should be my LAST summer of graduate school. Yay!
Mike and I were asked to participate in a fund raiser that was based on the game show "The Newlywed Game". There were five other couples beside us. Most had been married close to 20 years. Mike and I were the 2nd longest married at 28 yrs. (soon to be 29). The longest had 39 years. Anyway, Mike and I won! I guess we know each other pretty well. : ) We won a gift certificate to "The View." They have wonderful food!
Busy week again--retirement party tomorrow and our annual school golf/games party on Friday after school. I'm in charge of the inside games and have decided on Bingo and Twister! Probably another game as well--trivia probably. Am getting 'prizes' for the games. It should be loads of fun. I love my little Bingo machine.

well if i forget happy 50th bday to you early, and way to go on the win,\"the View\" kewl, my hubby and i will be married 20 years this august 15 and i will be 40 in nov.uggggggggg i dont want to be 40 either, but hey what can you do!!! well i hope you enjoy your 10 weeks off of school my kids cant wait, i can though ,lol. oh well!!!! such is life.
