Received the avonex injection last evening (Friday) and was amazed that it didn't hurt very much at all! Side effects were not too bad pain wise--just a tad achy. Ibuprofen took care of the achiness. The biggest effect was complete exhaustion--which could have come from the school week moreso than the avonex. Hard to tell. Mike let me sleep ALL DAY and I really needed it. I am so lucky to be married to the most wonderful man in the world.

I finally wrote to my advisor re my master's degree and asked her about taking my degree 'down a peg' to include one rather than three areas. The future is just so uncertain. I also asked her about an idea for my special project, which I could actually begin this summer, if approved. My idea is to create a handbook, or guide, to juveniles with an ED diagnosis who are incarcerated--short or long term. When this happened to our son last fall, Mike and I knew NOTHING about the system, court proceedings, his rights, our rights, etc. So I think this would be a really helpful project.

It is raining hard here and the wind is pretty strong. It has been raining on and off since yesterday and is not supposed to quit until tomorrow. By Monday, everything will be so green! I can't wait. Spring in full bloom! It's strange how I appreciate this so much more than I used to.

Am trying to figure out what classes to take this summer. I wish I didn't have to take anything--could use the break. Still, I won't take the load that I did last summer. It wasn't horribly huge, but big enough! This summer I will take about 25% less.

Only three weeks left of school--going way too fast and sometimes not fast enough.
