I am feeling a little better again today. Wasn't sure if I should take my Avonex injection, but decided that I probably should. Very painful once again. This one was one of the worse injections. I'm glad they are only once per week. I'm not feeling sorry for self, just reflecting that I don't like the injections!
I am still bothered with 'air hunger' due to this bronchitis or whatever it is I have. As long as I am not physically active, I am fine. As soon as I start 'moving' around the house and working, I get short of breath quite easily. I have a feeling that this is caused by stress as well as bronchitis.
Tonight I was told by someone I have respect for and admire that I need to get out of the self-pity mode. At first I was mad to hear this, then hurt (until I realized that feeling hurt is also self-pity), and then I realized, much to my discomfort and shame, that he was absolutely correct. It is not easy to admit that we have acted foolishly, but hopefully it makes one stronger in the long run.
I need to 'let go and Let God." I need to pray and give thanks much, much more. I need to make good on my 'good intentions'.
I finished my homework for my online class. I like the instructor's comments and feel as though I am getting to know her somewhat--I sense that she is a lot like me re her teaching style. I don't like doing the homework, but I always feel good after it is done. I am learning quite a bit. I guess online isn't that bad, especially with the group taking this class. Our email discussions are pretty interesting and I enjoy seeing other viewpoints as well as getting some fantastic ideas from others!
Today was an absolutely gorgeous day! 79 degrees, I think. And it is still April! I hope that we don't go back to freezing temperatures in May, but it certainly wouldn't be the first time! I also hope that May isn't a real rainy month, but filled with sunshine and just enough rain for what the farmers and ranchers need. Time will tell. Hopefully we won't get a snowstorm--this has happened twice in May that I can recall. One of the storms (about three years ago) came the first or was it the second week of May and we even had school called off! If I recall correctly, that summer was not very warm and we had a lot of rain.
