I have been very tired all day and didn't get a nap in. Busy afternoon with Catholic Daughters meeting, play rehearsal, and more play rehearsal. Then I went to 'family night' at the Parish Center for the Lenten movie. It was called "The Winding Staircase" and was about a staircase built in a chapel in Santa Fe. The staircase still exists to this day. The movie was okay--good for Lent.

So that Mike wouldn't have to give me my injection today, I took it early so that a nurse that I know could give it to me after my meeting. She had me ice first and I don't know how much of a difference it made as the shot was rather painful. She got the needle WAY IN to my arm and perhaps that's the way it is supposed to be? I am sure there will be a whopper of a bruise, but not a big deal. At least Mike didn't have to do it again--he really dislikes giving them to me and it stresses him out. So I thought I could save him stress for at least one weekend.

I wanted to take the shot early to see how it will affect me the next day. I have been taking every Monday off to deal with the side effects, but I have to work tomorrow afternoon so I wanted to not have to deal with side effects in the afternoon. I had the shot nearly five hours ago and have taken four ibuprofen. So far I don't feel horrible, but I don't feel great either. I am sort of achy and have a headache. I am very tired. My arm (injection arm) is sore as well. I feel like my joints are stiff.

Tonight I nearly fell on stage. I tripped over nothing about two hours after my injection. There were several people on stage, but I caught myself. About five or six people laughed. This was the first time I experienced being laughed at because of MS. It wasn't a nice feeling, although I don't think any one of them knew why I tripped. If they did, I know that they would not have laughed. At least I hope not. Still, it perhaps gave me a glimpse of the future?

I was able to get some papers corrected, but still have more to do. Need to get this done. I'm also anxious to open my order from Amazon--two books on MS--I'll write a post on one or both books if I ever get time to look at them!
