I love weekends. I can get the sleep I need and replenish my sleep bank. At least I can begin each week with adequate sleep. As the week goes on, however, I tend to get more sleep deprived.
I am getting my lines for the play down despite my memory difficulties. I just wish that my part wasn't so huge! This is perhaps the biggest challenge I face this year in terms of performance/stamina. I've had parts as big as this and even bigger, of course, but not with MS!
It has been snowing much of the day and as a result there is a beautiful white blanket covering nearly everything outdoors. It looks clean and pure and I appreciate the look of the fresh fallen snow.
I had my shot of Avonex about an hour ago. I hope that my reaction to it tomorrow is not as awful as last week was! Still, it's the lesser of two evils.
I just got my Master's program of study approved (a little late since I'm half done, but what the heck). It looks like I will be going to school full time this summer if I want to get my internships done next year!
I really want to change my teaching area to special education. Yes, these teachers also work hard, but I see them leaving the bldg. at 4:00 p.m. quite frequently and they often don't have work to take home. I need a job with less stress (than 100 kids per day) and less hours of work past the school day. I really hope that moving into special education will provide this for me. If not, I'm in big trouble. If anyone reads this who is a special educator, please don't be offended. I have so much admiration for individuals in this field. It is my admiration for what special ed. people do that perhaps was instrumental in my decision to want to enter this field.
Speaking of school, I really need to get some papers corrected. Always papers to grade!
