I have begun to really become aware of the loss of some of my strength. When pushing open a door to a store, for example, it is not as easy as it used to be. I have to use more force, it seems. I guess our strength is something we take for granted and it'frightening to be losing it.
My fingers are still tingling a lot and memory/cognitive function was horrible this past Friday.
Supposedly I am not experiencing an exacerbation, but the dye contrast wasn't done for the MRI, so I don't think they can tell if a lesion is active.
If these things don't point to an exacerbation, what do they mean? I'm confused about this disease and what I am experiencing. I wonder if anyone else has experienced this confusion about symptoms...can one get new symptoms w/o an exacerbation? Can symptoms continue to worsen even if on medication?
Dr. said no new lesions...so no steroids and dropped it at that (via letter in mail)....but didn't explain what might be causing finger tingling and loss of strength. So I don't know and not knowing is worrisome.

eloise i expoerence the same symptons with pain on top of all that my doc won\'t confirm yet that its MS brcause no lesions on the MRI but it was through the lumbar punture they said at first i had MS talk about confused i just want an answer as far as your symptons i\'m no doctor but somedays i can\'t even play solitare or get out of bed because i\'m so exhausted from foing stuff the day before yes i hate it to it comes and goes talk to your doctor again kep bugging them your the boss. good luck. pinky 123
