Conflict like the differences in lifestyle can destroy self esteem. I always ask co-workers if they know that conflict is an opportunity to share viewpoints, not demean others. Then I start looking around for a better place. (I also make a point of my married-Christian lifestyle in interviews).

Anonymous quote:

\"I\'m sorry DarkSign are you talking about the conflict I feel inside, or about the one my daughter feels about what her boss did? Just a little confused. I always value your opinion. Thank you for your comment, I\'m not trying to destroy her self esteem, just get her motivated so she will feel better about herself. I think her boss really did a number on her selfesteem and I just want her to be proud of who she is, no matter what kind of job she has.\"

I meant both in general and in regard to the firing of your daughter by her ex-boss. In any case, I have had numerous conflicts (I am BiPolar, so alot of them were my fault.) A year ago I was terminated from an excellent job because I wouldn\'t \'play the game\' with all the nasty witches.

When they were nasty, I called them on it. I was continuously written up for \'causing conflict\'. They were so used to people being nasty, they didn\'t notice that the witches were calling me names in front of everyone. All they remembered was that I said, \"You\'re just being a despicable little witch. Keep that sort of nastiness to yourself. Its state law man, I can show you.\"
