O God, Master of this passing world, hear the humble voices of Your children. The Sea of Galilee obeyed Your order and returned to its former quietude; You are still the Master of land and sea. We live in the shadow of danger over which we have no control. The chasm, like a provoked and angry giant, awakes from its hidden place, yawning wide to swallow us and spread chaos and disaster.During this crisis, we turn to You, O loving Father. Spare us from past tragedies whose memories are still so vivid and whose wounds seem to refuse to heal with the passing of time.O Virgin, Star of the Sea, Our Beloved Mother, we ask you to plead with your Son in our behalf, so that spared from the calamities common to this disease and animated with a true spirit of gratitude, we will walk in the footsteps of your Divine Son to reach the heavenly Jerusalem where a deathless eternity awaits us. Someone directed me to your page. She told me of your beautiful prayers.....because I asked for her prayers. She doesn\'t have it to give right now. I am here on bended knee to ask for your prayers for a friend of mine who has returned from Iraq recently. He is suffering from PTSD, but when he went to the VA....all he got was a physical. No guidance in what he truly needed help with. I\'ve lost him from my life because of this. I miss and love this man very much. My heart is frozen.....like I can\'t move on or back or any direction. At the same time, I\'ve been diagnosed with two help issues....that I am dealing with at the same time. Your words are truly touching and powerful. I ask for your prayers for my friend and myself.
