231 Years ago this nation rebelled against our King over taxes and civil injustice. We are engaged in a thousand year struggle to bring civil rights to the world. If we fail in this, or cede our own rights to combat the enemies of freedom, we have failed. God bless our troops and may our leaders be endowed with great wisdom to guide us in these perilous times.Happy Independance Day!

I didn\'t realize it was 31 years after the bicentennial. I remember that one. I was 16 years old and was a contestant for Miss Betsy Ross 1776-1976 and I had this Betsy Ross dress with mop cap and apron and had to walk across the stage with an escourt who looked like a Teenage Lounge singer and had to tell them my hobbies and that I wanted World Peace and also wanted to stop World Hunger or something like that. When we have the 250th anniversary I will be in my Sixties and eligable for the Mrs. Martha Washington Pagent or Mrs. Ben Franklin.
