"Be full of love for others, following the example of Christ who loved you and gave himself to God as a sacrifice to take away your sins." (Ephesians 5:2)---  God has a commandment for His people, and it's found in John 15:12. There Jesus said, "Love each other as I have loved you." Now, that's a tough assignment considering the fact that He loves all of His children unconditionally and completely. But Jesus would not have said this if you didn't have the power to put His love into practice. God is telling you to love others constantly, the way He does, without giving up on them. Love does not disappoint or take hope away, but is devoted to the other person's well-being and happiness. Americans like to celebrate love on special occasions, which is fine. But showing true love and appreciation is a decision to show love and devotion every day without wavering. That's what God wants you to do with others around you, because that will make a difference. --- God, give me strength to follow Your command to love. May I truly live a lifestyle of love today and every day. In Jesus' Name. Amen.credit: Joel Osteen
