I love it here on DS. My only downers are:
1) fundamentalists that take me to task for being honest (they feel that since I am both Born Again and Catholic I should 'know better'). I get hate mail weekly.
2) radicalists that take me to task for being honest (they feel that since I am both a Tree Hugger and 'Liberal' I should 'know better'). I get hate mail weekly.
Oddly I feel good that wild-eyed loons on both 'right' and 'left' think I am too moderate.
I must say that my friends here on DS find my dry/wry sense of humor to be refreshing. I find that helping them smile (with just a little persuasion thrown in) is very good for me too.
Karma has decided that I need to make a list like 'Earl' (on NBC) and go make the world better. Its a fair cop. I spent alot of my life being a complete wrecking machine. Maybe it is time to 'get my head out of' you know where, and do some good for once.

This is great. You must be doing something good if your gettin hate mail. Opinions are like assholes...everyones got one. Sticking to your guns is the challenge. Walking your walk all the way. Its tough, and you got to be so damn keen all the time without stumbling on your laces. I don\'t know why God has allowed this thing, Jennay, to keep going on but it is. So I gotta participate; and not just participate but do it really well. All this shit wierds me out... but \"not\" at the same time. Sometimes I feel so close to God its somewhere else, then other times there is an utter void. I figure those are the learnin times. I think the empty times are when we cannot walk by ourselves and Jesus must carry us. That\'s why there is such a feeling of free fall, or weightlessness. Its because he is cradling us in His arms, knowing we cannot do it for ourselves.

Hey, I\'m sorry people are sending you hate mail. If they are so good and following God they should really \"know better\" than to be sending all that hate to you. That is such an un-Christain thing to do. I really do think that all the different denominations of Christianity need to take a chill pill and relax and accept their brothers and sisters in the Lord for what they believe and become a family. I agree with listless that if you are getting hate mail it means that you are doing a lot of good. Keep up the good work brother! Your doing great and I certainly appreciate you. LOL, I can rember having so much anger inside of me because of the trauma from my childhood. I would not consider myself to be a wrecking machine but I do know that people did not get a second chance to hurt me. If you did something I came out with both guns blazing and it was this short first ask questions later behavior and mentality that I have a hurt and isolated some people. A list is very usefull. I too have made a change and it is definitely a different world for me. Best Wiashes to you and you shall do well. You are a wonderful and I urge you to continue to shower the earth with your kindness and maybe the damns will overfloww and drench those who seek to tare down or block the pathways towards GOD\'s divine love and everlasting life.
