I don\'t know if i agree with that darksign. They should only be forgiven if they ask for it. If they have no remorse at all and did ill will onto others, then i think God should remember those things VIVIDLY. Judgement day is for those who don\'t care about wronging others or about being forgiven. That\'s just my opinion though. Am i wrong for that?
You are not wrong for feeling that way. God has said, \'vengeance is mine\' not ours, and, \'judge not, lest ye be judged\'.
I am not the judge of these men. I certainly feel very judgemental toward them, but it is not my place to render that judgement. Part of healing is always forgiveness. Some may never forgive others, but I pray that they forgive themselves. Part of PTSD is holding ourselves to blame for the attack. This is not appropriate.
When we stand before God, I want to be admitted into heaven. I will be neither shocked nor dismayed if I find my attackers there. I will be in the presence of the Lord, where he has willed it. If these others have also \'passed the test\' for entrance, then it is as He has willed it.
That is hard to be able to come into this place. It is true. I am practicing the art of forgiveness so God can forgive me too.J
