IMHO - When we sleep, the brain does alot of work for us. First, we review the days memories and catlog them. Then we have dreams about the relationships each of these new memories has to existing ones. In the process we cross-reference things. Sometimes we end up with weird dreams that disturb us, we call them nightmares.
I used to dream of Happy Evil Clowns squeezing my individuality out with a giant happy steamroller playing ice-cream truck music. What does that dream mean? Who knows? It\'s pretty sick, but it was related to stress.
OMG, i hate clowns, LOL. I\'ve been cursed with nightmares on an almost nightly basis all my life, until a few weeks ago, so now i guess i feel blessed. There\'s no other explanation for the end to my nightmares recently except perhaps moving in with my parents and sister after living away from them for 9 - 10 years. Maybe my unconcious mind feels safe now. I\'m sorry you had nightmares.

I still don\'t like clowns.
