Terri,
You have been through a lot this past year. Loosing your best friend, lover and fiance all in one day is a lot to absorb. I want to encourage you to stick with a 1,200 calorie diet and count those carbs and walk. I really love Leslie Sansone\'s walk away those pounds dvd\'s or videos. They are easy! The biggest thing is don\'t bring in any carb snacks. Get some South Beach bars. And ask your doctor for Byetta to go along with the metformin. Your weight will come off one day at a time. Its taken me 19 months to loose 48 pounds but the biggest thing that the Byetta did for me was get my blood sugar in control. Now that I am walking I have to adjust the glipizide or I crash. 5 mg is not enough, 10 is too much so I am experimenting with 7.5. 2.5 in the morning and 5 in the evening. The Byetta will help control the cravings for carbs. Terri, I still have to watch my favorite foods because I will eat the whole bag potato chips are my down fall. We are none perfect, if you messed up today try to do better tomorrow or the next part of the day.
Much love,
Monica
