Update

I mett with the counselor Friday for the general eval and finished the 1st part.  Part 2 is Monday.  I do qualifty for servies and they will be sceduling me for a complete psych Eval.  They know I need to get back on meds for Bipolar butthey've even found out who my Dr is from the state health care, but at least now I know I have options if it  gets that bad.  He also suggested that I sched an appt w/ the Dr. so they can get to know my history.   He wants me to attend more groups to aid in my recovery.  The friend I took with me attends the EDA group on thursday's w/ me.   I took her just in case of the worse case senario and the admitted me due to instability.     We also went to see a friend of hers after and had a great time.  I'm trying to eat at least once per day but don't always make it.    I know I need to but it's tough right now.  I want recovery but unsure, and scared now that I know the help is there.  Plus I know if it's an emergency there's somewhere to go.

Oh kiddo, please try not to be scared. It can be very overwhelming knowing that the help is right there and just waiting for you to accept it and the changes it holds for you. For you to have a happy and healthy life. I know that is hard to see through the fog of ED, but you have already come so very far through the time I have known you. It\'s so great that you are finding groups wherever you go and you are utilizing them. And new friends, friends in person, that can be a comfort for you when going through some rough times and trying times, that\'s great news. Some people have to walk all alone. I think what you are doing is wonderful. All one can ask of you is to try, with each bite, you are making such a great accomplishment. I wish you wouldn\'t be scared, but we\'ve all been in that position. It\'s the fear of eventually letting go of a \"friend\", but that\'s not a good friend, it\'s an evil enemy, but you know that as well as I do. It\'s also good to hear that they are going to do the evals and that you should be up and running w/ your meds. I am so proud of you. Keep your head up and stay strong.
