worried

I was diagnosed 3 weeks ago in ER with A fib went in back into nsr on my own. Pounding heart beats racing heart, skipped beats. some chest pain too. Scared to death. Ekg showed A fib. everything else normal. Im a vet so after reg hospital, they put me on xeralto also. VA doc said to stop the Xeralto and just take aspirin every day. That was a week ago. Friday morning had nuclear stress tests and ekg etc at VA. Records sent to VA from private hospital. yet to see a cardiologist. Calling tomorrow to get appt. Chad score is 1. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
