Hello

Hi All,
I should have written about myself first but once I started writing about my feelings it  just took over. How can one have feelings not knowing anything about them? I am have 28 years of Nursing experience behind me I live in the south suburbs of Chicago, I am married with one beautiful daughter who is now 24 and has just recently left the nest. I loved my job, I have worked in many faucets of nursing and loved helping, From the hardest job to the easiest To see a smile or hold someones hand was the best feeling in the world there was no color just care.  I was told on my 50th birthday that I had type 1 diabetes, that I had had it for years an had never experienced any of the symptoms that are put out to the public. Shortly after that I was told that I had Glaucoma Boom! I cried, thinking what did I do, why me. This was all I ever wanted to be! this was all that I knew! over years the anger passed. I decided to write I had so much history behind me why not share it? At my 30th reunion I took 900 books and sold them ALL! My book is on Facebook It is called"I'll Always Remember The Robert Taylor Homes" YES it was where I lived and grew up and no everyone in poverty doesn't just go barefoot and get pregnant. I hope that you will buy it I have been told that it is a truly good read its has been placed in quite a few of the public libraries and is for sale on Amazon.com. After leaving the nursing profession I had a multitude of friends but alot have passed others have moved away. It was the morning that I stopped wearing my watch not having any on to talk to that I realized that I needed to make some new friends If nothing more than for me to have someone to say Hi to and so here I am, an open book with feelings. For thos of you that have friends or text this may com as a shock to you but this is like being pushed in the water and YOU CAN'T SWIM! so forgive me if I have rattled on. Hope to hear from you soon I know God didn't put me here if there weren't some nice people here so when you have a chance, drop me a line.
