Saw on the news last night that Estelle Getty of 'Golden Girls' fame has passed away at the age of 84. She was a talented actress, and her role as Sophia Petrillo will always be a favorite of mine. And her 'Golden Girls' line....."Picture this, Sicily, 1938....." and then the stories, and great comebacks on the other stars! Plus the other roles she portrayed in several movies were also great. Thank you, Estelle, for sharing your talents with all of us for many years! R.I.P.

Oh I saw that Golden Girls star passed away. She was so good as Sophia. She was small but powerful character I loved that show.
oh bless her ,she was such a sweetheart.wasnt she the one suffering from altzseimers??I loved her in the golden girls too ,such classic lines!
she will be missed by so many people.
