Update
So just an update things are better he was still on a roll this morning but by lunch he called me back and apologized and it was so good to hear him truly apologize! I know he is going through a rough time he is far away so it's hard to make a visit, he is hungry (I don't know why he isn't buying commissary I know he has money) and obviously he is stuck in a crappy place so I know I jut need to be supportive. What do you all do when your guy hits a low point?

Ooof, that\'s a hard one. You can try just being cheery and supportive. Usually when they get in these moods, you have to let them ride it out. OR there could be something going on in there that he won\'t tell you. Did you ever think maybe he DOESN\'T have anything from his commissary because he has people making him buy them things with his money? Mine went through that. There is no way to get him to tell you, because they fear retaliation if it gets out. The phone\'s are usually monitored so they fear telling you anything on them. Sorry to scare you, but it happens alot. Especially if your guy is more quiet and one of the \" nice ones\". They get taken advantage of. Mine had nothing for months. I did not know it. They made him keep asking me for money. I only could send small amounts at a time. He lost 30 lbs, and I thought he was sick. No, he couldn\'t buy any canteen, and they don\'t feed them enough.
I really know I scared you, but it sure sounds like it. You need to quietly ask him when you do visit. He still will deny it, but watch his face, his eyes, his body language. You know him. You will be able to tell. Then you figure out how to deal with it.
I know, have him do what my son did. Start working out in the gym. Befriend the biggest, baddest weight lifter there is there. They have respect and instantly my son was left alone.
My guy is one of the nice ones cuz I always here people ask him for stuff when he is on the phone with me. I don\'t get to visit him he is 6 hrs away :( and I just haven\'t been able to make the trip yet. I have thought about that and it could e the case so I will have to just listen more carefully when I hear him talking to ppl on the phone
