My beloved husband passed away on Aug 8, 2015. I miss him more than I can say. He was the kindest, most loving man and my best friend. His oldest daughter had not spoken to him in over 9 years. He never knew the reason for this estrangement. I was able to contact her via e-mail to tell her that although they had no contact he loved her with all his heart. Her response was ugly. She told me that she hoped that I "rot in hell." I am so glad that her father did not know of this. My heart breaks knowing that he died and never was able to resolve their issues. I cannot seem to push my feelings about this out of my mind. HerĀ feelings of anger and bitterness just dominate my mind and heart. This has made the grieving process that much more difficult. I know I should let it go but I just cannot understand how. It is like a double whammy. I dwell om the fact that he so wanted to make amends with her but it never happened. How can I rid myself of these difficult feelings?
