Beautiful day

The weather today was so nice.  Temps perfect and not much humidity so I did what I had on my to do list and varnished an old family dresser.  It was a mess when I found it in a second hand store.  It was a family piece alright, the same hole in the middle drawer and wire on one leg!  It had been painted pink and black.  Ugggg.    Last summer I got it stripped.  Weather never did get to where I could varnish so waited.  This spring was wet and rainy--not good.  This last couple of days was just right like Goldielocks said!  Well, it is done and now I need to find the right knobs and pulls.  The old ones were gone. 
While I was in a crafty mood, I got the top to another dresser refinished.  It looks much better.  This weekend I will dig up some bulbs for a friend.  Moon sign will be right for that. 
I can't believe it almost September!  Mom is doing pretty good too.  All this fresh air is making me sleepy too.
