Just me

I have always been a happy person, regardless of my tough childhood. Fun loving and overly caring is the way my grandmother described me when I was little. This person she described was lost and sheltered from the world during my 15 years of marriage to a man who was mentally challenged and painfully mean. Its been years since I broke away and divorced this man, won custody of our child and loved onto my freedom as a person I wanted to be. But I suffer from the daily stresses and anxiety of dealing with him. I have worked on my independence, gotten professional help to deal, maintained a positive relationship with a supportive man but I still struggle. Everyday I am focused on being a better me. For my children and my future!

Even in my toughest times of depression and anxiety, I\'ve tried my very best to be a good person. Even if it meant some loneliness, we\'re all just a little different. Please feel free to message anytime and remember to be good to yourself. I applaud you and your thoughts about your kids. Ours are grown. Hugs and much luck .... don\'t get down, just share as you feel comfortable. We\'ve all been there some how.

Try to distance yourself from the disease. My 44 year old son is b-p. I am fully aware that I am a mother and not a spouse, but would like to help you best I can. You are a good lady. Your husband has a mental disorder. He did not decide one day to give everyone a hell of a time. What I am trying to say is if it be possible, try to seperate the person from the disease. I care about all b-p sufferers AND I care about you and all family and friends and spouses of b-p sufferers.
God bless you.

Dear Lorrie9,

I thank you for your kind words. I have struggled as of lately to separate the person from the disease. I will work on that. I do care for him as a person as I believe all of gods children should be cared for and loved. I just find it hard to trust him or believe him anymore. This to I will work on for the sake of our child and the relationship I will have to maintain for the next 11 years with him as my child father.
Bless you and your strength :0)
