Changes
I have been rather introspective and thoughtful in the last few days. The events which are occurring in our Country are giving me great pause for reflection.
Wherein lies my gratitude today? I am grateful for the possibility of change and reform.
Throughout history, such has seldom come easily nor without sacrifice. For me, knowing this both frightens me and saddens me for all who are effected by the process.
I am grateful I have the choice and ability to take action and be an advocate.
I am grateful for each and every one of my experiences throughout my lifetime. For, had those events not occurred, I would not be the person I am today.
My impact may not be profound nor remembered, but I am grateful I choose work towards the change I wish to see not only in the world around me, but inside my soul.
