With a simple, unexpected knock on my door, sunshine entered my home this weekend, and I was blessed by the gift of learning a friend...
Time, patience, trust, and investment... Honest, soul deep communication... Listen and actually hear... Being listened to and actually heard... Validation, gratitude for one another... To express hurt and offense, and work together to move towards forgiveness and a greater understanding of one another... Sharing both tears and laughter...
That is the truest nature of friendship I can define...

Sounds fantastic - especially that you could express hurt and offense and get past it. That\'s always the scary moment in a friendship, when it\'s put to the test. More often than not (always?) I choose not to test my friendships. It\'s great that this friendship withstood the test.
Outstanding-thank you for sharing
Your strength is your willingness to be vulnerable. I admire that strength in you.
