Progress

After my decline recently, I was confronted by a dear friend... He feared for my life...  He cried as he spoke to me...  It broke my heart...  I sat in my chair and listened to him and saw myself as one who was on the brink of suicide...  One who was facing imminent death...
I listened to what he said and I HEARD him...
Since that conversation, I have been working towards some of the things he suggested:
1.  Attended a Thanksgiving celebration at the Red Cross...
2.  Attended a Poetry Society meeting.
3.  Have chosen to not sit at home and feel sorry for myself on my birthday...  I am inviting friends over to celebrate with me...
4.  Have made a decision to not call my mother and invite her due to her negativity...
We have had a bit of a cold snap here, but the sun is shining beautifully today...  Perhaps tomorrow I shall call a friend and see if they would like to take a walk in the park and watch our breath in the cold...  I've always loved that...
Every second of my life is completely unpredictable...  I cannot begin to know how I will feel regarding my mood or energy whatsoever... Sometimes it is really scary but, right now, I am going to take a nap and relax my mind...
It has been a busy morning...
