Things changed dramatically at work... My counterpart who was so hateful towards me was caught having used Miss Hilda's credit card for the last 7 months...
She admitted it to Miss Hilda, Hilda's son, and the police... She is being charged with credit card fraud and, because Miss Hilda is elderly, she is facing a far, far stiffer penalty...
She has also tried to poison Miss Hilda against me by complaining and lying... I came in right when I knew she was fired and have been here with her non-stop...
Miss Hilda and I have talked a great deal openly about everything... airing it all out...
I am helping her do interviews and find a good, solid replacement and am going to stay with her until training is done...
It has been a horrible nightmare for her and has hurt her very badly as she was so violated...
Bless her heart... She is a tough lady and is moving forward... Bouncing right back but, I imagine, it will take some time for her to completely process all of this and work through the criminal trial if there is one...
