Stress

My stress level is relatively high...
Working on the fundraiser is difficult but rewarding...
My hope is we raise enough funds to help the department have the resources they need for the upcoming wildfire season...
I have three publicity events scheduled for the first two weeks of March...
The event is March 29th...
Sometimes I feel as if I am going about this alone...
It seems I can't do enough for them...
I have depleted my friends' list on Facebook...  I imagine they are exhausted by my requests...
The pressure is on...  Time is moving so quickly, and there is much to do...
I DID take a shower today for the first time since last Thursday...
My progress in my self care goal is poor, but I am working on it...
My depression has lifted...  For that, I am grateful...

Thank you so very much, annette... I have a small amount left to reach my personal goal with the walk-a-thon and the bake sale... Then I will turn in my sheet and move forward with the publicity events, tons of e-mails, co-ordinating with the Fire Chief regarding television and news (which he will do)... And getting the supplies together... I wanted to do mine early so I can focus on everything else... Whew! I am wiped...

I really never did understand why Americans feel the need to bathe or shower at least once a day. I mean, if you aren\'t digging ditches somewhere or mucking out stalls, how dirty can you get??? I don\'t think it\'s healthy to scrub off all that bacteria from our skin constantly, I think it leaves us open to opportunistic infections. Hygiene is what is important so you don\'t smell LOL. Much success on your fund raiser.

I know... I love to get dirty once in a while... It\'s fun! Or should I say, funky... I don\'t even shave my legs most of the time... I just don\'t really care to be honest... I lived in Europe and many women did not shave... It was natural... Here, they\'re aghast if one does not have soft silky skin and god forbid they don\'t have a pedicure and manicure...
