$500 in a day

He gets paid $500 (which is more than usual, due to holiday pay). The next day, it's gone. Granted, a chunk of it's for shopping. But the rest of it....? Another big chunk was for a replacement tire on the car that I've been wanting to get rid of for years. Really, I wish we wouldn't spend any more $ on it.
Anyhow, if he's gonna spend $ like that, I can't put $ in the savings like he wants. There is literally no $ to do that.
