5 mos Post Op

Well today I am 5 mos post op and feeling good except for the wt loss.  I only lost 1 lb for the whole month and that is very frustrating and sucks.  I have a goal in miond for the June 14 and that is to be under 200lb and if it goes like this is willnever happen.  I haven't even come close to the 85% wt loss yet for this to happen.  I knew that you stop or have trouble loosing the last few pounds but this is just not right.  I feel like why bother any more at this point.  I am exercising my butt off with cardio and wt training.  I eat mabybe 800-900 calories aday and get all my liquid and protein.  What else am I to do.  Yesterday I just wanted to stuff my self with the cake on the table that is how bad I feel right now.  As to say I didn't because I know what the sugar would do to me.  My hubby made a joke like how do you expect to lose wt if you are snacking like that.  Well let me explain, for breakfast yesterday I went for a chicken salad because the time was 11:30 am well after 2 bites it felt yucky so I ditched it.  I went and got some cottage cheese and that too did sit well so now here I am hungry and feeling like crap.  I waited awhile and went for some soy nuts and almonds so go either.  Waited again then I had a sugar free ice pop of course that is okay because it is liquid.  Dinner rolls around and I have some pork roast from the grill, well lets just say it was like a rock in my chest.  I did have some egg noodle with cheese and sugar free or natural apple sauce and aspragus they stayed okay.  Later about 9pm I felt a little queasy so I had some cheese chunks and salt crackers.   This is prety much a typical day I have trouble with alot of foods and that is why I feel eating is such a big chore I just don't want to bother with it.  I find myself eating alot of cottage cheese and chicken  or maybe a small salad with chicken and cheese.  Right now I feel no differant thenif I was dieting before the surgery I am struggle to lose the wt all over again.  I still don't regret the surgery or the wt that I have lost because I do feel much better.  I just wanted and expected more with being so fresh from surgery.

I am sorry you are struggling so badly. But it sounds like you are doing what you need to and eventually your weight will drop again. With all the working out you are probably building muscle and that is so great!!!!
Hugs,
Kim
