5 months
Well the 5 month mark is here and I can't stop crying. I was better on Valentine's day ... why is that??? I know we are supposed to experience "plateaus" but I didn't think it would hit me so hard, especially since I only cried a little on Valentine’s day and that was only 3 days ago. I miss my Randy so much, my honey, I love you so much and miss you every day, every minute, every hour.

Dawn, quite agreed. This new \"normal\" is anything but!!! Hang tough, kip.
I know the feeling yesterday was my 6 months. We will have these ups and downs for a long time.
My mother still cries for my sister (20yrs gone 28 yrs old) & my father (17 yrs gone 61 yrs old), but with the help of all our friends on DS, it should become a little easier.
Remember baby step. My thoughts & prayers are with you....BIG HUGE HUG..Grant
It will come and go for quite a while. No reason for it, just will come when you hear a song, see a magazine he liked, etc. I\'ve been pretty good overall the past month or so but that being said, just had a one minute meltdown when I saw a picture of Lory smiling. They come and they go just like that. Imagine it will be that way for some time. Very sorry about your loss and all I can tell you is that time will help ease the pain. Good friends and relatives can help but that only goes so far. Hope your day goes a little better for you. bruce
Comes fast and hard and goes away.
So sorry, it just seems like it won\'t end. I guess Valentines Day is universal and the 5-month anniversary is specific to the two of you and that might be why you feel it more. Just keep on going.
Hugs, Gail
The 5 month mark has a very different meaning then Valentines day did. I have been a little more weepy this week then I was last week for the 4 month anniv. is coming up this Sunday. I think it\'s just the significance of the date. HUGZZZz to you. thinking of you..Shelly
There doesn\'t seem to be any rhyme nor reason why some days are easier than others and some are just so difficult. I hope tomorrow is better for you. Hugs...Nancy
Nothing seems to make any sense. Why a special day can be ok and one other day is horrible. I am finding that every month anniversary is very difficult. It marks the distance we have traveled away from them. Hugs, Kathy
