5 days post op laser vulva and anus

So today was my worst so far; vulva healing nicely but not so te skin around the anus.  Also first day that I poohed. Now they tell you about the stool softeners after the op but by then it is late late.  You have already had the GA and been given meds and your bowel has gone on rest!!  So this morning I had the pain of passing firm stools which ripped the lasered skin apart so much that I nearly passed out!  The blood didn't help me either. The pain was severe and the bath immediately after didn't help much. stronger meds and a vicious circle starts!  Took lots of fruit lax today in the hope of reducing the pain and saving my skin next time.   Tip ...  Start the fruit lax a few days before your surgery :(
