5 days.... funfunfun

The past 5 days I've been in Co with mm and md. Omg...we had so much fun.... we laughed and acted silly and just had a great time.

we stayed at my daughter's studio apt in uptown and we had a great time. i was very tired after driving and being up all night the night before with the DOG.... ugh... but then we went to eat and i crashed early.

we then drove to the mountains the next day and stayed 3 nights in the mountains. we ran around the historic town, took a historic tour of the hamill house (mark hamill  / luke skywalker's) gggrandfather's home. he was a business man and land / mine owner.

we ran around silverplume, which is basically a ghost town. we really enjoyed that. we hiked some there and went thru a graveyard that was very old. 

we drove to the summit of guanella pass / up above timerline and ate a sandwich picnic lunch by the lake. we got a lot of fall foliage pictures. the aspens are turning gold and red. 

then me and mm drove back home today. it's a long drive / about 8 to 9 hours / but we rolled in before dark and she then had her thirty minute drive home. great fun. 

we laughed and laughed and really enjoyed the beautiful beautiful mountain weather. i really did love living there in colo in that small mountain town. it has changed a lot, but still really beautiful.

so thankful for a safe trip and for a lot of fun with my 2 girls. great to enoy one another's company.
