5 Days Discover Taiwan
You get it when you come out of the airport. Come out and turn right and you will see all 3 shops in one location, all you need is your passport. But no not necessary just convenient, can cover more, the np is large.
When we got there our room wasn't ready so we were told to have some breakfast which we paid for as our tour didn't start until the day after. We laid on a couch in the foyer waiting for our room as we were so tired. I would rather spend an extra 伴手禮 台東 few hundred dollars for a one way flight than having two stops to get there. Allot of people in our group had to to the same and was exhausted by the time they got to the hotel which was late then they had to start their tour the same day.
OK understanding they can't run buses all day. Last day in Shanghai we were told we're on the 8.40am bus to the airport. So for $300 we paid for 2 hours extra sleep.
During your morning at leisure, you may wish to go on an optional horseback ride or float trip. Or, you can take advantage of your resort’s amenities by walking along the shaded trails nearby. Later this afternoon, visit Arenal Volcano National Park, where your guide takes you on a walk through lava trails of the volcano and shows you how nature has found a way to recover from past lava flows. Next, enjoy a walking tour of the town of La Fortuna de San Carlos, offering spectacular views of the active Arenal Volcano.
Our group was required to pay for taxis to get to a central meeting point for bus pick up. The bus then headed back in the direction of our hotel to reach the venue closer to our hotel than the pick up point was. Today’s excursion brings you to mysterious, prehistoric Stonehenge. First, explore the visitor centre with its imaginative exhibitions, then take the shuttle to the stone circle and admire the magnificence of the monument up close.
Upon arrival, you will be met by your Tour Director, who will help you check into your hotel. Welcome to historic Valletta, a UNESCO World Heritage Listed City and Europe’s most southern capital. On arrival, be transferred to your hotel and enjoy the evening at your leisure. After breakfast, you will be transferred to Taipei Railway Station to take scenic train to Hualien. Visit Shitiping Terranced rocks and Sanxiantai – Amis Folk Centre in the East coast National Scenic area. Just as I'm hoping there's a tailor on the premises who can do quick alterations to let my pants out, we take a night walk along the Buluowan Trail.
An amazing sight is a giant 12-metre statue of the Earth Store Bodhisattva, who, according to tradition, has vowed not to enter nirvana until hell is empty of all its occupants. Near the Taroko village of Tiansheng, Buddhists have established a temple on a hill overlooking Pudu Bridge. Sadly, there are no monkeys to be seen, but we do spot giant snails, which I'm told occasionally feature on local menus.
We then went to some eating place for dinner which was Chinese. All the lunches and dinners were Chinese so by the end you were sick of it. We paid for some tours before we left but most them you had to buy the day before which made it quite an expensive holiday by the time you add it all up.
Various shops, mainly restaurants, line both sides of the street. I think if that's the case, will stay near the main station, as there will be good train connection between the HSR station and main station, which should be easier with suitcases. Everytime I go back to Taiwan I always visit.
