there is no greater pleasure than taking your son to breakfast.
we're just back from IHOP, where he had his usual - eggs, french toast ("with syrup (poured from) really high!") and bacon. he wants questions, so i ask him silly questions and tickle him like mad when he gets them right. (it used to be when he gets 'em wrong, but then we realized that wasn't exactly building great learning habits). he wonders why elevators go up, why water is cold, why cars go so fast, and then he decides the funniest thing on earth is to lean over and lick me. twice.

awww, i remember those days! Now the answers to the questions are like \'i dont know, ur gonna have to look that up in the dictionary!\' or \'ask ur teacher please\'. And if they lick me, they get a time out ...lol
