I had a nice night last night.
Yeah, I did. I'm OK admitting it.
I've had a really odd cold the last two days - I've got the fever part and the sore throat, but it hasn't progressed to the snot-fest that I thought it would. So when C reminded me that we had tickets to a
concert last night (after a party at our house on Sat night), I wasn't into it. At all.
Plus, I haven't been to the Hollywood Bowl in 10 years, and all I've heard about is the nightmare-ish parking situation, so I thought this was a big, long night in the making.
Alas, I was wrong. The Bowl is beautiful, scenic, civilized and really, really relaxing. We had a picnic on our little tables while Groove Armada performed a slammin' live set. Kinda funny to see all these pudgy white folk (me included) jamming to those beats while sipping chardonnay. It was like seeing a concert from the confort of your living room couch. Fun fun.
