For those of you keeping track in the audience, i have now lost 9 pounds. i'm proud of that.

What's odd is that i'm not quite sure how i did it. i was being very disciplined for a few weeks, then i kind of slipped and had a horrible food-week last week. i've been good the last two days, and i exercised this morning, but nothing huge.

It's starting to look as if i won't reach 168 by 11/13 (given that i'd have to lose 9 more pounds in about 20 days), but still, i'm happy with how far i've come.

now, i need to plant myself firmly in the 170's...i.e. 175 or below, so that my slip-ups won't get me back up to fat-land.

i need to give some credit to my wonderful wife, who despite not caring about how much i weigh (she's more interested in exercise than actual weight loss #s), she has pushed me to get out there and hike, exercise, etc.

it's late, so that's all for now. see you at 175.

You must be doing something right! You must have altered your eating habits in some ways that you do subconsciencly. Maybe your intake has lessened...whatever, good job!

Weight loss is hard for most... I just have to induce an attack and I\'ll be down to a sickly 150 lbs in no time... I\'ll stick to my regular 220 lbs, keeping the 70 lbs I\'ve GAINED since last year, thank you. Quite happy here. :-D
