181.8
Without context, I'd be unhappy with that number. But, as my wife has pointed out, it's not just about the numbers. I feel much more fit (and a helluva lot more sore), and while I could be imagining it, my belly seems slightly less, err, protrouding than it's been previously.
So I'm hoping to be in the 170's by October. That gives me the rest of this week to knock off 2 pounds. I'm giving myself a break this week because a) I've managed to injure both my ankle and my calf, and b) I'm working hard, so it's up to the diet to get me down to 179.
Stay tuned.

Way to go Doug! Sounds like you are really keeping up with the diet and the exercise! Lollie
Keep it up Doug...You\'re doing GREAT!!!
Hi Doug; Wow, you really are doing well. I can sympathize with your plight. I\'m overweight, except I\'m also a smoker. So I\'m afraid if I quit smoking I\'ll gain back what little weight I lost (about 30 pounds). All I did was watched my portion sizes. Most of it has stayed off. Now I\'ve gotta get the treadmill out and DUST IT OFF so I can start walking. Keep up the good work, Doug. You\'re an inspiration. Hatmaker
