ok, so i'm done writing about my odd summer cold, and it's time to move on to weightier issues. (of course, my son now has my cold, but you probably don't need to hear about that).

so chona and kaya are out of town until saturday, leaving me alone to chill with zadie.

zade's current regimen is twice-weekly speech therapy, plus he begins once-weekly physical therapy next week. the official diagnosis seems to be a combination of apraxia and sensory integration disorder, both admittedly vague determinations. that said, he's been making progress on the speech side, and he's gotten to be a much happier kid as he can now express himself better.
