4th shot
I had my 4th shot last night. I have been dealing with a lot of emotions the last couple of days. I don't know if it because it's that time of the month or if it's one of the side effects that others have written about. I don't like it, I just start crying and can't stop. Then I am fine.

You hang in there. I have those days and I\'m not on treatment. You\'re being very strong. Keep the faith.
Maybe a combination of both. As long as it passes - ride it out like a wave. Hang in there!!
Hi sweetie, it probably both, both your cycle and the meds, are you on any antidepressant yet?
As you know a person contemplating of doing this kind of therapy needs to start taking the antidepressants, at least 2 weeks before starting the treatment.
If you are not on the anti\'s yet, I urge you to go to your Primary Care Physician and get him to prescribe some to you, asap
Years ago when I did my journey, my new young doctor, didn\'t know mutt about these new therapy that were newly on the market at the time, so I had brought him a note from my gi\'s nurse, telling him to prescribed me some anti\'s among one more thing I dont remember.
Anyways, he didn\'t he wanted me to show symptoms before prescribing me some, well at week 12, I was in full term depression, and believe me I had never took anti\'s ever in my life.
These meds do create depression, so be sure to get some if you don\'t already.
If you are on some kind of anti\'s than get the dosage hosed up, they are not strong enought and your just starting your journey, so good luck with that my love.
Good luck on your journey, please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers, and I have registered you journal and had just received a message in my hotmail account telling me that you had posted this post,so I logged in to come to your journal
Have a good night and try to relax, stress is not good for you.

PS: I remember every time I would do my shot, I went in my bedroom alone, and would do it, not telling anyone, my husband didn\'t want our daughter exposed to seing that, she was 10 at the time.
And every time I would cry a little, I did this every single shots for 48 weeks. :(
Just to let you know, the first 6 months of Tx, I was a mess emotionally, and against taking anti\'s, my Dr. suggested I go on Prozac, and have been on it since. Ive been off Tx for almost 6 months now, and continue to take the anti\'s, theyve made a dramatic improvement in my attitude and mood-swings. I hope You do well with Tx, hang in there!
Well, I\'ve been on tx for 9 months and I\'ve had my period like 4 times! So, don\'t be surprised if this happens to you! If you need someone to talk to, I\'m here fro you! Kristin~
Well I think you got a double whammy...newly starting tx...and your monthly girl thing....even on a good day being healthy...it would get to you I am sure. Everyone is different...personally I would not sign up for anti\'s before I started tx. Only if you have a history of depression...if not, then hang in there..the emotional responses do tend to level out after a month or so on tx...done 4 months...still aok...not on anti\'s. Do know that if I need them or if you or someone else needs them...then go for it. Only you and your doc can decide this.
Thanks everyone for your comments. I slept very well last nite so hopefully today will be a better day!!!
