4th Quarter Interim Reports

Well, my daughter's report was sparkling & awesome as usual. She's even doing above-average in math & science. Take that, naysayers against girls having math & science anxiety!

My son's report was better than expected. No classes saying he was in danger of failing (though last time he didn't & got an F in Psych, so...); only 2 classes saying he needed to turn in his work (Psych & English). No negative comments otherwise, which for him is very, very good. He really enjoyed reading MacBeth this year & is now reading & enjoying The Great Gatsby. The fact he's enjoying it gives me hope for his motivation! The possibility of passing English this year is becoming a probability--which means I'll live up to "the deal" & pay for English 2 in summer school.

Spring Concerts are over & done with. My daughter will be marching in the Memorial Day parade with the Girl Scouts on Monday, so that will probably be her last big Scout obligation this year. Not sure if she'll be continuing, due to her troop leader retiring this year. We'll see.
