Today is Saturday, January 05, 2008.First of all, please accept my belated Happy Holiday and Happy New Year wishes to you and yours…  I sincerely hope that like me everyone was able to find a bit of sunshine through all of the sadness, grief and loneliness over the past several weeks.  I, for one know that while I had my moments of sadness that my sweet little Angela Christine blessed us (my husband, my daughter, our little boy-to-be and I) with her presence if only in spirit…Anyway, change of subject…Back tracking a bit, I went in for my 30 week check-up on Wednesday, December 26, 2007.  The baby’s heart beat registered at 140 using the Doppler and my Uterus measured 31 which is just a bit bigger than where I should have been, but no big deal.  She asked if he has been moving as much as he should be and when I mentioned to her that he seemed to have really mellowed out quite a bit in the preceding 24 hours, off for another Ultrasound I went.  Neither my husband nor I were overly concerned due to the fact that his heartbeat was so strong with the Doppler but she still wanted to make sure that everything was fine and that he had been developing in the manner that he should have been.  So anyway, we had yet another Ultrasound done, his heartbeat registered at 152 (I believe), everything looked fine and we were given the okay to just go ahead and go home until the 32 week check-up which is scheduled for this upcoming Tuesday, January 8, 2008.  As always, please keep us in your thoughts and prayers, please know that I’ll always be thinking of and praying for you, please take care of and be good to yourself and keep your eyes peeled for a 32 week update after my Tuesday Doctor’s appointment…  Gina
