Today is Wednesday, February 21, 2007 and boy do I have a lot to say. Let me start with yesterday.

Yesterday afternoon while my hubby and I were going to pick up our daughter from Pre-School I had an extremely horrible bout of nausea come over me. As soon as we got back home we ate dinner. Shortly after we were done with dinner, I noticed that the extreme nausea came back. Unfortunately, the nausea lasted until I passed out; but before I passed out, I found myself straining my lower jaw in the manner that people do when they feel like they're going to get sick but they are still trying to keep it from happening. Make sense? Hope so. So anyway, I'm not quite sure why I became so nauseous or what caused it to happen but I thank God that it hasn't been an issue today. Now on with today.

Today was a crazy kind of day. I had the 5 year old girl and the 5 month old boy that I watch here along with my wonderfully rotten 4.5 year old daughter. Quite honestly, since I have not had a "full schedule" with the children in well over a month, (since all this began) I think I had begun to forget just how much of a juggling act life can be. During a chaotic break, I decided to call my Primary Care Physician's Office to let him know everything that had occurred; and to ask if there was anything that he could recommend my doing/taking to help with all of the anxiety, depression and insomnia that I had been experiencing as a result of my loss. The nurse asked that I come in due to the fact that it has been so long since he has seen me, so I'm going to go in next Wednesday at 11:45 which is just over 2 hours after my 2 week follow-up with my OB/GYN. Then I decided to call my OB/GYN's office. I left a message on one of the Nurses voicemails asking that she fax all of the results from all of the blood work that they had done to my home fax so that I could get them into my PCP's hands beforehand for him to review. She called me back, agreed to send the fax, asked how I had been doing and showed an amazing amount of compassion and support which is quite a change from the crappy way they had treated me over the past month and a half. So anyway, I thought that having all of the results in my PCP's hands before I go in to see him about the Miscarriage sounded like a sensible idea, how about you? Also, next Wednesday should be a pretty interesting day don't you think? I do! Now, regarding how Ive been feeling. It seems as though during the day when Im mega busy with the kiddos I do really well and accomplish more around the house (cleaning, cooking etc.) than I ever would have imagined that I could, HOWEVER after the kids leave and we eat dinner I seem to crash. I find myself feeling the blueness coming back and irritability setting in. I dont know why this is, but I guess it is just another wonderful part of the grieving process that we all must go through.

I think that the days fly by when there is stuff to do but when you slow down, bam, that\'s when it all hits. That\'s probably part of what\'s going on. It happened with me. I also get more irritable in the early evening when I\'m trying ot get dinner on the table etc. THat\'s when the kids are most likely to act up too. I think that\'s why it\'s called the witching hour! I think giving you PCP all that info will totally help him evaluate what\'s all going on. Besides, he will know exactly what has all happened to you as well. I know there\'s medical jargon in there that you and I probably don\'t understand.

I hope Wednesday goes well for you and you get the help and support you need. Many hugs and love to you!

I am the same way, keeping a bit busy during the day, but at night getting irritable and restless, if Im not crying during the day it seems to come out in the middle of the night. Definatly its good to see your dr. There are so much hormonally going on too, dont forget that bit. You are doing rather well considering, be gentle with yourself, and know Im praying for you.
