Update...

It’s funny that the better you feel the less time you spend journaling. I do not want to get away from updating my site, as I never want to forget how bad this illness can be. Things are still going well so that is a good thing! We went to my neighbors wedding Saturday and got some things for the garden yesterday. Friday we are going to KY to get the new mutt! I’m sure he’ll be as crazy as the old mutt since they are both from the same family! I think it will be good for T to have another dog running around!   Work is coming along. The good old economy still stinks but what can you do. The companies that survive will be in a better position, the one’s that don’t will just be absorbed by bigger companies. Ultimately this may be a good thing for our company as we gain business from now defunct companies and individuals. No sense in hiding under a rock now!   Overall things are about the same. My parents are still working toward selling that building and existing equipment. In time it will all be sold. We still have that place in FL. Ultimately I feel my decision to buy in that location was right even though it felt so wrong just a few months ago. I’m more curious to see how things play out over the next 5 years rather then worry about it. Even in this economy the city and local businesses are pouring millions into improvements including another new walking bridge to the beach, boat slips in the harbor and rejuvenating the city entry way corridor. A new movie theater is also in the design phase. At this point I’m happy to wait and see.   I do not have a therapy session until the end of the month. At this point I’m feeling pretty good about life without therapy but I will go back at any sign of falling backwards. During a normal day I have a few moments where I feel like I could slip back but it usually evens out pretty quickly. In the past it was the reverse. I would feel like hell 99% of the time with brief moments of hopefulness that were fleeting at best. I can’t praise Prozac enough for bringing me to a state of normalcy. Honestly I believe that all the therapy in the world would not have made a difference without the meds to allow normal brain functions rather then a constant negative focus.  I continue to try and answer DS posts as much as possible. I know how much it helped me to know that someone was listening and cared enough to respond. I guess that’s all for now! More updates after the pup is home!
